Philippians 2:25-30
The Maine* Idea: God desires each of us to have th e attitude of Jesus, serving others, thinking of them before ourselves, and so becoming a disciple who makes disciples, as we carry out His mission in the world.
The Maine* Idea: As we recognize who Jesus is, and reflect on what He did for us, our attitude will be changed, and we’ll find joy in serving Him by humbly serving others.
The Maine* Idea: Gospel-centered thinking, characterized by thankfulness, humility, and generosity, will lead to Gospel-shaped living, which will be evident in the unity of the church.
The Maine* Idea: Knowing our eternity is secure in Him, we can have joy that goes beyond circumstances! We because… We have confidence in God’s Plan (1:18b-20). We are convinced of Christ’s Preeminence (1:21-24). We are committed to God’s Program (1:25-26).
The Maine* Idea: We can serve God joyfully, even when we are passing through hardships or opposition, because God has a plan, and we can trust Him.
The Maine* Idea: We should pray for growth as His disciples, loving Him more, knowing Him better, adn living a life that brings Him glory.
